pacific blitz

on 1 november, navy conducted 2 tests of aegis missile defence system part of pacific blitz naval exercise. 2 target missiles launched pacific missile range facility @ barking sands. sm-3 interceptors launched uss paul hamilton , uss hopper. missile launched paul hamilton intercepted target, 1 launched hopper failed so, due targeting fault.

gt-198gm fourth test of minuteman iii missile conducted in 2008. missile launched vandenberg afb @ 09:00 utc on 5 november. missile travelled 6,740 kilometres downrange, , impacted kwajalein atoll.


shaurya test

at 05:56 utc on 12 november, indian shaurya missile launched on successful test flight lc-4 @ integrated test range on wheeler island.


sejjil test

iran tested new solid-fuelled missile, named sejjil, on 12 november. test reported have been successful.


m51 test

at 09:06 utc on 13 november, french force océanique stratégique conducted successful test flight of m51 slbm centre d essais des landes @ biscarosse.


black brant solar mission

on 14 november, black brant ix launched lc-36 @ white sands missile range on solar research mission nasa , navy research laboratory.


japanese aegis test

the japan maritime self-defense force conducted test of aegis missile defence system, in conjunction navy , mda. @ 02:21 on 20 november, target missile launched pacific missile range facility @ barking sands, navy. 3 minutes later, sm-3 interceptor launched jds chōkai. sm-3 failed intercept target due infrared sensor fault. second consecutive failure of aegis test, following similar malfunction during navy test on 1 november.


rs-24 test

at 13:24 on 26 november, russia test-fired third rs-24 icbm plesetsk cosmodrome.


kavoshgar-2

on 26 november, iran launched kavoshgar-2 research flight. sources reported safir used, whilst images of launch showed smaller, solid-fuelled rocket. unclear whether reports or images correct. flight reported have lasted 40 minutes, payload being recovered parachute.


bulava test flight

an rsm-56 bulava tested on 28 november, launch occurring dmitry donskoi submarine in white sea. flight reported have been successful.
