in service proved robust, easy maintain , easy shoot optical sights had been added machine guns. main drawback excessive weight , high cost. 6 assigned armored regiment in milovice , remaining 9 cavalry, changed during reorganization of armored units in mid-thirties. 1st armored regiment received additional 3 total of 9 while 2nd armored regiment in olomouc got 3 did 3rd armored regiment in turčiansky svätý martin. oa vz. 27s heavily used suppressing protests , violence instigated konrad henlein s sudeten german party (sudetendeutsche partei - sdp) , sudetendeutsche freikorps (paramilitary groups trained in germany ss-instructors) between may , october 1938. after munich agreement 1 platoon of oa vz. 27s sent reinforce slovakia , ruthenia used repel hungarian , polish border-crossers, battalion in strength. 1 platoon of 3 vehicles defended carpatho-ukraine in march 1939 hungarian attacks, forced seek refuge in romania , slovakia acquired 3 when declared independence in march 1939.

three oa vz. 27s seized slovaks when declared independence in march 1939, used training , scrapped in february 1943.


romania

little known career of oa vz. 27 in romania after 1 czech platoon of 3 sought refuge there in march 1939 other performed internal security duties. 2 destroyed during 1 of american bombing raids on ploiesti during summer of 1944 while being serviced @ depot there.
