the cypriot performance featured band members of minus 1 dressed in black of musicians in large cages , lead singer, françois micheletto, in centre of set-up microphone stand. stage , led screens displayed white lighting effects , images of wolves. artistic director of performance sacha jean-baptiste. minus 1 joined 1 backing vocalist: lars säfsund.
at end of show, cyprus announced having finished in top 10 , subsequently qualifying grand final. later revealed cyprus placed eighth in semi-final, receiving total of 164 points: 93 points televoting , 71 points juries.
