Ōmiya park

in 1885, park opened door public prefectural public park. in 1921, large-scale expansion project undertaken including planting of cherry trees , construction of Ōmiya park baseball stadium. in 1962, park designated part of urban planning. in 1980, Ōmiya second park opened east of Ōmiya park. in 2001, Ōmiya third park established beyond southern perimeter of Ōmiya second park.


Ōmiya second park

Ōmiya second park refers section occupies western side of prefectural road 35. established in 1980 650 japanese apricot trees interspersed within grounds of park. in 1996, fragrance road accessible wheelchairs constructed. visitors can enjoy displays of flowers , fragrances of trees change season year around. each year between mid-february march, japanese apricot festival held.


Ōmiya third park

Ōmiya third park name of area located south of Ōmiya second park. became accessible public in 2001. initial plan relocate Ōmiya park baseball stadium or Ōmiya park soccer stadium site. later, plan altered incorporate pristine scenery of minuma , create open space accommodates both people , nature. park highlights images of greenery, water, , light.
