geography

administratively italian part of range belongs provinces of como , varese, while swiss 1 divided between districts of bellinzona, locarno, lugano , mendrisio.


the western slopes of mountains drained ticino river, eastern ones adda , southern-central part of them lambro, olona , other minor rivers , streams, of them directly or indirectly tributaries of po .
