biography

born in london in 1930, jones first arrived in australia in 1948. between 1950 , 1952, worked briefly in england, canada, , fiji, settled permanently in australia in 1952. graduated university of western australia bachelor of arts, majoring in anthropology , english (1959).

he lived in parkerville , developed , sustained parkerville amphitheatre during lifetime.
